  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste garnish chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the mixture over them, ensuring they are well coated.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Make sure to marinate the chicken for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to soak in. You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier option. Adjust the amount of garlic or brown sugar according to your taste preferences. For an added kick, sprinkle some red pepper flakes into the marinade. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
