Ingredients
  

For the dip

  • 2 cups Fresh tomatoes, chopped Use ripe, fresh tomatoes for the best flavor.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Basil, chopped
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Can substitute Greek yogurt for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

For serving

  • 1 loaf Crusty bread Arrange around the dip for easy dipping.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine chopped fresh tomatoes, minced garlic, and chopped basil.
  • Add cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese to the tomato mixture.
  • Season with salt and pepper, and add a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, let the dip cool completely before storing it in an airtight container. It can be kept in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, simply place it in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes until warm. Consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
