  • 1 cup flour Can use whole wheat for a healthier option.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs

Waffle Ingredients

  • 8 mini waffles store-bought or homemade Frozen mini waffles can be used for convenience.
  • to taste Maple syrup For drizzling.
  • to taste Optional: hot sauce For a spicy kick.

Preparation

  • Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and place the coated chicken tenders on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
  • While the chicken is baking, toast the mini waffles until golden brown.

Assembly

  • Once the chicken is done, assemble the sliders: place a piece of chicken on a waffle, drizzle with maple syrup, and top with another waffle.

Notes

Serve the sliders warm for the best experience. Add small bowls of maple syrup and hot sauce on the side for drizzling.
