  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1-2 tbsp Cajun seasoning Adjust based on preferred spiciness.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

  • In a large pot, cook the sliced Cajun sausage over medium heat until browned.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent.
  • Stir in the pasta, chicken broth, and Cajun seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until pasta is cooked (about 10-12 minutes).
  • Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

This dish pairs well with a side salad or some crusty bread. To store leftovers, let the pasta cool completely and refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
