Easy Homemade Chicken Patties

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken or 2 chicken breasts if making your own ground chicken
  • 1 1/4 cup Cheese use any kind you like
  • 2 cups Italian Seasoned Panko Crumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Salt
  • Onion Powder
  • Cayenne Pepper (optional) for added spice

Preparation

  • In a medium or large bowl, add ground chicken, egg, and cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly blended.
  • Form the chicken mixture into patties. You can make them any size you prefer, but around the size of store-bought patties is a great choice.
  • Coat each patty in Panko breadcrumbs, making sure to cover both sides.

Cooking

  • Baking: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the patties on it. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.
  • Air Frying: Set air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray the basket with non-stick spray and place patties inside, cooking for about 18 minutes, flipping for even cooking halfway.
  • Stove Top Frying: Heat a small amount of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry each patty for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.

Notes

Store any leftover chicken patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. They can be frozen in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months.
