Ingredients
  

For the Sliders

  • 12 pieces Slider buns Soft slider buns
  • 1 pound Roast beef Thinly sliced, can use deli meat
  • 1 large Onion Caramelized until golden brown
  • 8 ounces Provolone cheese Melted on top of sliders

For the Dipping Broth

  • 2 cups Beef broth Can use homemade or store-bought
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For caramelizing onions
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Adds flavor to the broth
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder For added onion flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper To taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, melt butter and caramelize sliced onion until golden brown.
  • Cut slider buns in half and layer roast beef, caramelized onions, and provolone cheese on the bottom halves.

Baking

  • Place the tops of the buns on and arrange sliders in a baking dish.
  • Mix beef broth with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then pour over the assembled sliders.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to crisp the tops.

Serving

  • Serve warm with extra broth for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can use au jus made from scratch. Adjust the onions and cheese amounts to your taste. Consider adding horseradish sauce for a zing.
