Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound thinly sliced steak Choose a tender cut like sirloin or ribeye.
  • 12 pieces slider buns You can also experiment with different types of bread.
  • 4 cups beef broth Heat until warm for serving.
  • 1 piece onion, sliced Sauté until soft.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Add with the onion for flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the onion and steak.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon pepper Adjust to taste.
  • to taste Cheese (optional, like provolone or mozzarella) Add on top of the steak for extra creaminess.
  • to taste Fresh herbs (optional, like thyme or parsley) Use to enhance flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Season the onion mixture with salt and pepper.
  • Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until just cooked through.
  • In a separate pot, heat the beef broth until warm.

Assembly

  • Slice the slider buns in half and place them on a serving platter.
  • Spoon the steak mixture onto the bottom half of each bun. Top with cheese if using.
  • Dip the top half of the buns in the warm beef broth to soak up some flavor.
  • Cover the sliders with the top bun and serve with extra broth for dipping.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, wrap each slider in plastic wrap and place in a freezer bag; they can be frozen for up to 2 months.
