Ingredients
  

For the rice

  • 2 cups sushi rice Rinse well to remove excess starch.
  • 2.5 cups water For cooking the sushi rice.

For the crab mixture

  • 2 cups imitation crab meat, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 0.25 cup green onions, chopped Adds freshness and crunch.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

For serving

  • Nori sheets, cut into strips For serving alongside the sushi bake.
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish For added flavor and crunch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then combine with water in a saucepan. Cook according to package instructions.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the imitation crab, cream cheese, mayonnaise, sriracha, green onions, and soy sauce. Mix well.

Assembly and Baking

  • Once the rice is cooked, spread it evenly in a baking dish.
  • Layer the crab mixture over the rice evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until heated through and slightly golden on top.

Serving

  • Serve warm with nori strips and garnish with sesame seeds.

Notes

If you have leftovers, let them cool completely before storing. Place them in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
