  • 1 box Stuffing Prepared according to package instructions
  • 2 lbs Potatoes, for mashing Boiled and mashed with butter and milk
  • 1 cup Gravy Made from turkey drippings
  • 1 cup Cranberry Sauce Served alongside the turkey
  • 1 lb Green Beans Steamed or sauted until tender
  • 1 pie Pumpkin Pie Baked according to recipe or package instructions

Instructions
 

Preparation and Cooking

  • Preheat the oven and roast the turkey until cooked through and golden brown.
  • Prepare the stuffing according to the package instructions.
  • Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and milk to taste.
  • Make gravy from the turkey drippings.
  • Serve cranberry sauce alongside the turkey.
  • Steam or saut green beans until tender.
  • Bake pumpkin pie according to the recipe or package instructions for dessert.

Serving

  • Carve the turkey and place it on a large platter in the center of the table.
  • Arrange stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and green beans in separate bowls around the turkey.
  • Serve slices of pumpkin pie for dessert and encourage guests to help themselves.

Notes

Store leftovers in airtight containers. Turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes can be kept in the fridge for up to 4 days, or frozen for up to 3 months. Label containers with the date.
